JCDecaux continually strive to enhance the impact of outdoor advertising by pushing the bar on creativity. This includes the introduction of new technologies and materials that allow a creative message to build higher recall and impact with consumers.
Insect control brand, Doom, wanted to reflect its true power; and so JCDecaux embarked on the grueling challenge of executing the 'image': a mammoth billboard with approximately 6000 shoes to fit into the shape of a Doom spray can.
Africa is the first continent, outside of the US, to celebrate Universal Pictures centenary; an iconic silver globe, a replica of the original at Universal Studios in Los-Angeles, was constructed (to scale) by JCDecaux, and has traveled to all of South Africa's main international airports.
