Advertising de-cluttering taking off at Airports

In line with international strategies toward the improvement of Airport design, and the enhancement of the customer experience, ACSA in partnership with Clear Channel Outdoor, have embarked on an advertising de-cluttering programme at all their domestic and international airports.

Much emphasis is being placed by ACSA and Clear Channel Outdoor on improving the environment and ambience for travellers. As part of this process Clear Channel have consolidated several billboards within the airports and have developed high impact Gantry Billboards at the entrance and exit to airports, thereby providing ACSA with the solution of a de-cluttered environment. This strategy has driven the roll-out of new Gantry Billboards at the airports, commencing with George Airport. The newly erected Gantry at OR Tambo airport has afforded Vodacom the impact and exposure the stature a large brand requires.

The de-cluttering process makes accommodation for all brands, regardless of size, as Clear Channel Outdoor have ensured that marketers receive high impact hits from the comprehensive suite of different sized advertising formats that are still available at all passenger and visitor touch-points.
