Business Connexion delves into the future with Continental Outdoor


Business Connexion, South Africa’s leading IT services provider, is a leading integrator of innovative business solutions based on information and communications technology (ICT).  They hosted “My World of Tomorrow” in October at the Sandton Convention Centre, presenting an opportunity for a continent to converge under a single roof, creating an African led movement of global technological innovation. The three day technology experience extended to all spheres of business, public sector and society and showcased products and services of the future.


To support this high-tech driven event one of the channels used to promote the event was an interactive activation, aptly conceived by The Fort, on Continental Outdoors’ eleven Roadside Digital screens in Sandton and Pretoria.  The activation, driven by an app devised by PDT, allowed students to communicate with passing traffic in real time, thus endorsing the immediacy that technology is impacting on our lives by posting relevant messages within the “My World of Tomorrow” advert.  The activation, coupled with the digital advert, was used to promote and create awareness of the event and demonstrate to all passing traffic the relevance of the event, and indeed technology now and into the future within their lives.
